This guy I used to work with broke up with his girlfriend because he couldn’t get over the fact that she slept with him on their first date. In his mind, that was absolutely not the kind of girl you marry. He was such trash. This is the same guy who, after he coincidentally saw me coming home in the early morning after being dropped off by a one-night stand; a week later showed up drunk on my doorstep offering to give me a belated birthday “present” – sex with him. I’m afraid I turned down the offer. But I think, in his mind, seeing that I had sex with some dude he didn’t know automatically moved me from the “girls you marry” category and into the “girls you fuck” category – therefore he decided to go for it. Dumbass.
In real life, he is nothing but trouble and any girl who dates him is in for some misery. But I often think he would make a great story character.
This hit too close to home. I’ve been interrogated and told, “I want to make sure I’m not dating a hoe” simply because I’d had more sexual partners than he had despite him only ever having one night stands and random hookups. This mentality that girls that like hookups are only capable of hook ups infuriates me and now I’m inspired for my next fic. So thanks @noona-la-la-la and this anon.
